Reflection on Educational Technology

Webinars are helpful a lot because they enable us to access important topics easily. Also, many people don't have time to go and attend conferences officially, so attending a webinar would make the process much easier and would avoid letting them lose the benefit of being exposed to discussions of different topics or ideas.

Using padlets is a very interesting and effective way in teaching because it adds fun and joy to the learning process. It also makes students share what they think all together which saves a lot of time and makes them enjoy what they're doing. I would like to use padlets a lot to let students add comments after each activity that we do and on special events.

Webquest's use is essential especially with youngesters because it makes their searching process safe. This will let the teacher feel more comfortable when asking her students to do a research because she'll be sure that all what they need and have to read is monitored carefully. This will also help in achieving the desired learning outcomes because students will be guided to achieve what they're supposed to.

When we were introduced to activeinspire, we felt like what shall we do with this and that it is meaningless and complicated. However, with learning more about it I liked such a use so much and I felt in love with the idea of designing interesting activities like the one of the magic box. I hope that my school would give us the chance to use it because I'm sure that it will add a lot of joy to my class.

Designing a poster wasn't new to me but in this course, I learnt how to design it professionally. This made me feel more competent in this domain. Also, I learnt how to summarize a research paper in the form of a poster which I found very effective.

This is the most enjoyable part in this course. While creating my blog and adding different parts to it, I felt very glad and I hoped that I have known this application before in order to add each single educational moment that I have done to it. This helps me save all of the projects and activities that I do and share them with others.

With the widespread of technology and its uses in different domains, it's radical to spread the use of Google Drive application at schools also. This is needed in order to make the coordination between teachers and coordinators or teachers together easier. This use will save a lot of time and effort and will help teachers use the wasted time on editing exams or papers to perform something else.

This application is also related to the ideas mentioned under the use of Google drive. But with Google Forms, teachers can design exams professionally with all of the needed details regarding the content, correction and scoring processes. It's amazing to learn how to use such enduring apps which will change our teaching life and enhance it.




Using Kahoot is a really great idea to assess students understanding of a specific lesson, unit or any learnt material. I liked that it can be done in pairs or individually which gives the teacher more assessment options. Also, it's very interesting to students to have the assessment as a game which is different from the formal ways of having it.




The final project which we have done in pairs was the most valuable one because it included all of the interesting applications and ideas that we've learnt throughout this course. I enjoyed working with my partner to finalize our VCT which included a lot of interesting ideas about Space Exploration topic. This project really showed us how we can facilitate our work and students' work just by organizing ourselves and getting all of the materials that we'll need ready. As we're done with this course, I'm very excited to use what I learnt and I feel like I'm more confident about my abilities because I know more now about the world of teaching using technology!
